Welcome to Porch Swing Photography! I’m Brian, the photographer.
When not playing with my camera, I work as a Software Engineer in computer graphics and games. I’ve always been focused on visual images. You’ll hear some photographers say that they’ve been into it since they were kids, but that wasn’t the case for me.
I developed a passion for photography after my children were born. I was always taking photos of them and eventually they started to tire of it. “Why can’t you go take pictures of someone else, Dad?”
Hmmm. That’s not a bad idea…
All my photo sessions are “on-location” rather than taking the photos in a studio. My favorite locations are the beautiful parks we have in this area. The whole idea is to let everybody relax and have fun, rather than sitting around stiffly trying to force a smile. I believe you will love the natural feeling the photos have as a result.
